Car Travel in Egypt: Traffic drives on the right. Most towns can be reached by an adequate system of roads.

Driving Licence & vehicle documents must be carried at all times and you will need to bring your own national driving licence if planning to drive in Egypt.

Travel by Bus in Egypt: Buses serve the Nile Valley and the coastal road. Main bus routes in Egypt are from Cairo to St Catherine, Sharm el-Sheikh, Dahab, Ras Sudr, El-Tour, Taba and Rafah. Other bus routes include Suez to El-Tour and Sharm el-Sheikh and from Sharm el-Sheikh to Taba, Neweiba, El-Tour, Dahab and St Catherine.

Trains in Egypt are operated by Egyptian State Railways which is cheap, comfortable and safe.
